Mediachance Dynamic Auto Painter (DAP) is a fun to use software to automatically turn a photo or a 3D rendering into great looking painting inspired by some of the most famous real-world artists.
DAP allows you digitally to repaint your photos in the style of famous world masters such as Van Gogh, Monet, Benson, Corot, and Cézanne.
Instead of processing pixels of the input photo, DAP uses the image as a guide and applies real brush strokes based on the works of famous classic painters to recreate from scratch your photos in each artist’s signature style.
Mediachance Dynamic Auto Painter not only emulates the technique but also the way different painters would see the same scene.
The software also allows you to process 3D renderings or other digital art or create NPR (non-photorealistic rendering) images.
Dynamic Auto Painter can work as a great feedback tool to improve your photography skills. A painting will simplify the image to its core visual values allowing you to evaluate the overall impact of the image such as proper framing technique or good separation of subject from its surroundings.
What puts DAP above many other apps is that the output images will look like a painting both up-close and from distance (or resized down as a thumbnail). This is normally a common deal-breaker with standard filters which when sized down start to look back like a blurry photo.
The Canvas and Brushstrokes can interact with the light creating a highly convincing painting even under a very curious pair of eyes (and by curious we mean pixel-peeping) A whole part of the software is dedicated to adjusting material and canvas.
