Acronis Snap Deploy 5 DOWNLOAD for PCAcronis Snap Deploy 5 deploys an exact Disk Image of a master machine to multiple systems simultaneously via multi-cast, making it ideal for rapid bare-metal installations onto servers and PCs. It creates an exact disk image of a standard configuration you choose, including the Operating System, configuration files data and all applications.

Acronis Snap Deploy 5 then deploys that image to multiple systems simultaneously, making it ideal for rapid bare-metal installations onto servers and PCs. With Acronis Snap Deploy 5, you can set up new PCs and servers with standard configurations quickly. Return PCs and servers to the desired state easily by redeploying a master image.

Perform manual or scheduled reimaging of machines in a large enterprise, an educational institution, training centers, or a government agency.

The software is powered by the Acronis AnyData Engine and leverages advanced snapshot technology to reimage multiple machines – both on-site and off-site – in a few quick steps. Now you can deploy or reimage all your laptops, desktops, and servers quickly and easily, while significantly driving down costs.

In addition to initial system deployments across larger environments, this software is the ideal solution for ongoing system provisioning and maintenance. This is particularly useful for educational institutions and training/lab environments. If you regularly reconfigure your existing hardware, you can upgrade or reset your entire environment in the time it takes to deploy a single machine!

Top Acronis Snap Deploy 5 Features:

  • High-Speed Dispatch. From a single, central dashboard, you can rapidly deploy a single image to multiple systems via unicast or multicast.
  • Flexible Deployment Methods. Choose from four deployment methods (manual, automatic, user-initiated, and scheduled deployment). You can also deploy a standalone image even if your system is not on a network. Additionally, our Wake-On-LAN setting automatically boots your PCs for deployment, ensuring that you always stay on schedule.
  • Multiple Operating System Support. Deploy to Windows and Linux servers, PCs, and Windows tablets.
  • Different Hardware Support. Deploy the same image to dissimilar hardware (even different Intel-based machines). Acronis Snap Deploy copies and injects the appropriate information, HAL, and drivers necessary for initial booting of the disk image.
  • Post-Deployment Customization. After deployment, use Acronis Snap Deploy to modify and tweak Windows settings (machine names, IP addresses, domain membership, and more).
  • Machine-specific Configurations. Assign individual settings to each PC or server to ensure they all receive an appropriately tailored configuration. You can monitor the progress and status with our convenient ‘new machines’ list and pre-configure new machines identified by their MAC address.
  • Boot Control. In preparation for deployment, you can boot your machines from customizable media (CD, DVD, flash drive), or from an Acronis PXE Server with network boot. You can also choose a Linux or WinPE bootable environment. In addition, you can add necessary drivers to WinPE media to ensure that your deployment works on your new hardware.

What’s new in Acronis Snap Deploy 5.0 Build 2028 – Update 5:

  • Sector-by-sector imaging mode
If this option is enabled, the master image will contain all sectors of the selected disks or volumes, including unallocated space and those sectors that are free of data. During the deployment, these disks or volumes will be copied to the target machine “as is”, without volume resizing.
  • Support for the Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) for Windows 10, version 1903
You can use the latest Windows ADK versions for Windows 10 to create WinPE-based bootable media with the Acronis Snap Deploy 5 PE Builder wizard.
  • Support for Windows Server 2019
Acronis Snap Deploy 5 Update 5 now supports the installation of its components, including OS Deploy Server, PXE Server, and other, onto Windows Server 2019 as well as capturing and deployment images of this OS.

Issues fixed in Update 5

  • [ASD-4041] Deployment of the master image to a non-initialized disk may fail with the “Failed to assign volume” error.
  • [ASD-4035] Deployment of the GPT-based Windows 10 image may result in the change of partition order on the target system (MSR partition is always placed first).
  • [ASD-4031] Deployment of the GPT-based Windows 10 image onto the GPT disk onto the disk of the same size as original fails when using deployment “as is” (without resize) method.
  • [ASD-4020] When enabling the “User-initiated deployment” mode, the “Start operating system” (upon timeout) option settings are not applied to the machines booted from Acronis PXE server.
  • [ASD-3875] The “User accounts” settings specified in the deployment template incorrectly override the “User accounts” parameters from the individual settings defined for this machine.
  • [ASD-3869] Linux-based bootable media fail to boot on Gen2 Hyper-V virtual machine.
  • [ASD-3833] Deployment to the target system booted into Acronis Snap Deploy 5 Agent via a USB flash drive, with the default settings may fail with “Failed to resolve target disk” -> “Cannot deploy to bootable media” errors due to improper detection of disk order caused by the presence of the USB media.
  • [ASD-3820] The Ubuntu source system which contains the ‘ext4’ file system may become unbootable after deployment to the same machine.
  • [ASD-3819] Deployment of the Ubuntu system which contains the ‘ext4’ file system shows improper deployment progress.
  • [ASD-3616] ISO images created by Acronis Media Builder cannot be saved to the USB flash drives by 3rd party tools (for example Rufus) due to the incompatible ISO image format.
  • [ASD-3366] The master image captured from systems that contain the ‘ext4’ file system is always performed in the sector-by-sector mode, while it should not.
  • [ASD-3350] The “Run file on target machine” checkbox setting under the “Files to transfer” deployment setting is not saved in GUI when trying to edit this setting.
