TRELLIX STINGER (formerly McAfee Stinger) is a TARGETED MALWARE REMOVAL TOOL designed to detect and eliminate specific threats. This STANDALONE UTILITY serves as a RAPID RESPONSE SOLUTION for infected systems, complementing — but not replacing — comprehensive antivirus protection.

Trellix Stinger has been significantly upgraded to include Real Protect, a powerful, real-time behavior detection technology. This feature tracks suspicious endpoint activity and applies machine learning for instant zero-day malware detection, strengthening real-time behavior defense.

Real Protect utilizes sophisticated machine learning and automated behavior-based classification that operates in the cloud. This advanced system analyzes suspicious activities and files, instantly detecting and neutralizing zero-day malware that targets previously unknown vulnerabilities.
