Driver Name Change

With the introduction of NVIDIA RTX products, which power the next generation of professional visual, compute, and AI platform solutions for the enterprise, the Quadro driver will transition to the NVIDIA RTX Enterprise brand to better align with new and future products.

NVIDIA RTX/Quadro Enterprise Drivers will continue to deliver the same enterprise-grade quality, reliability, performance, and security as previous Quadro drivers. These updated drivers deliver the latest features and enhancements for RTX GPUs while ensuring full support for current and legacy Quadro GPUs. Whether working with cutting-edge RTX technology or relying on trusted Quadro solutions, these drivers are designed to meet the demanding needs of professional workflows.

The driver branch name will change from ‘Optimal Driver for Enterprise’ to ‘Production Branch.’ Despite the new name, all enterprise-grade attributes will remain unchanged. By introducing this updated naming convention, enterprise GPU products, including data center GPUs, follow a consistent structure that improves identification and support.

NVIDIA RTX Enterprise New Feature Branch Driver

Release 615 is a New Feature Branch (NFB) release of the NVIDIA RTX Enterprise Driver. NFB drivers provide users with the flexibility to try new features made available outside the launch cycle of longer-lived Production Branch drivers. NFB drivers are tested for workstation environments and are recommended for early adopter users who need specific features mentioned in the release highlights or release notes. For the most stable and fully supported enterprise driver, please use the Production Branch graphics driver downloadable from the NVIDIA driver download page.

NVIDIA OpenCL Vulkan Interop

The NVIDIA OpenCL driver has introduced support for recently released Khronos extension specifications. The specifications are for OpenCL external semaphores and external memory.

DCH drivers cannot be installed on a standard system, and standard drivers cannot be installed on a DCH system.
