NVIDIA Studio Driver - Graphics driver optimized for creative apps, video editing, and 3D rendering.

NVIDIA Studio Drivers are the essential solution for artists, creators, and 3D developers. They are meticulously engineered to deliver optimal performance and reliability for the world’s leading creative applications. To improve stability, Studio Drivers are validated through multi-app testing involving creative tools from Adobe, Autodesk, and other key vendors, supporting trustworthy performance.

Although you can install GeForce Game Ready Drivers and NVIDIA Studio Drivers on supported notebook GPUs, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) provides certified drivers for your specific notebook on their website. NVIDIA recommends checking with your notebook OEM for the appropriate software updates.

NVIDIA Studio Driver supports

30-bit color

In addition, this new NVIDIA Studio Driver introduces support for 30-bit color across all product lines. With 24-bit color, each pixel uses 16.7 million shades. At 30-bit color, each pixel uses over 1 billion shades, removing abrupt shifts in similar tones.

Applications

The July NVIDIA Studio Driver delivers optimal support for the newest creative applications and updates, bringing significant performance enhancements to your workflow. This includes the arrival of FLEX.1 Kontext in LTX Studio, which now features TensorRT and FP4 support. This powerful combination doubles performance and reduces VRAM consumption by up to 70%, allowing you to push your creative boundaries further than ever.

This release supports the following APIs:

  • Open Computing Language (OpenCLTM software) 3.0 for NVIDIA Maxwell and later GPUs
  • OpenGL 4.6
  • Vulkan 1.3
  • DirectX 11
  • DirectX 12

Software Module Versions

  • HD Audio Driver – 1.4.3.2
  • NVIDIA PhysX System Software – 9.23.1019
  • CUDA – 12.9
  • DCH NVIDIA Control Panel – 8.1.968.0

Discontinued Support

Release 470 was the last driver branch to support Quadro desktop GPUs based on the Kepler architecture.

NVIFR OpenGL support.

Release 470 was the last driver branch to support this functionality. NvIFR header files, samples, and documentation were removed from the NVIDIA Capture SDK 7.1.9 release. Future drivers will remove NvIFR.dll and any other reference to NvIFR.

3D Vision

Beginning with Release 430, the NVIDIA driver no longer supports the following 3D Vision technologies and features:

  • NVIDIA 3D Stereoscopic Driver, including the 3D Vision driver and USB (emitter) driver
  • NVAPI-based stereo APIs for Direct3D applications.

NVIDIA Kepler GPUs for Notebooks

  • Beginning with Release 430, NVIDIA drivers no longer support notebook GPUs based on Kepler architecture.

32-bit Operating Systems

  • Starting with Release 396, NVIDIA discontinued Game Ready driver releases for 32-bit operating systems across all GPU architectures.
