A clean, modern look
- We’ve combined the most effective aspects of our different platform interfaces into a new experience, so Evernote seems to be and behaves equally whether or not you’re on your laptop computer, a web browser, your phone, or switching between work and private computer systems.
- The main screen has a cleaner, more modern look that’s constant throughout Mac, Windows, mobile devices, and the web. So it’s simpler on the eyes—and simpler so that you can get stuff completed.
- You can now change the default width of your notes—particularly helpful for wider application windows. Choose to Optimize Readability for a more targeted view or Fit Window for maximum information on-screen. It’s your call.
A stronger foundation
- This update moves the application to a new codebase that’s more stable and dependable, for fewer hang/crash errors.
- That new codebase means we will repair bugs faster and release new features more typically (yep, we’ve received some cool things already in improvement—be part of our Beta Program for a sneak peek!).
- Syncing data throughout different platforms and devices is smoother and more seamless than before.
