ADR

Voice recording and language dubbing form the backbone of audio post-production. While traditional external dialogue recording solutions prove costly, inflexible, and disconnected from DAW workflows, Nuendo offers a fully integrated solution. Its comprehensive dialogue and Foley recording tools streamline the entire process from spotting and recording to organizing takes by role or scene, all within a unified environment.

Integration with Audiokinetic Wwise middleware

Instead of saving audio assets piece by piece on the hard drive and importing them laboriously into Wwise later, Nuendo 14 saves you hours of work by letting you drag and drop audio files with customized naming conventions like project name, folder path, and track name via Game Audio Connect directly to Wwise, eliminating the time-consuming task of manually configuring import and export dialogs.

Render Export

This feature exports a customizable section of audio and MIDI files to a hard drive as separate events, block events, or a single file. You can specify exactly which elements the rendering process should include or exclude. Moreover, the powerful naming scheme lets you control how the rendered audio files are named.

Rack Zone

MediaBay and the VST Instrument Rack can now be displayed on the right side of the Project window. The result is the new Rack Zone with improved efficiency. That gives you more time to focus on your creative flow and reduce the number of open windows you need to manage.

Track List and Inspector

The redesigned Track List and Inspector now offer better readability. Track names are easier to find, and the reduced set of track controls in the Track List minimizes clutter. Additionally, the new configuration tabs below the Track List let you switch instantly between different track control setups.

VCA Faders

The Multiband Expander provides precise dynamic range control across four adjustable frequency bands. Independently tailor each band’s settings to either expand your audio’s dynamic range or effectively suppress background noise. Featuring zero-latency live mode, the plug-in delivers real-time performance perfect for live sound applications.

Multiband Envelope Shaper

It assists you in bringing out the best in drum mixes, Foley, and creative sound shaping and reshaping tasks. This new plug-in splits the incoming audio material into up to four frequency bands. It allows you to freely alter the attack and release characteristics of each band to reshape the transient structure.

VST Bass Amp

Delivers a comprehensive collection of amps, cabs, and stomp boxes that deliver classic crunchy rock tones or nuanced, creamy sounds – and beyond. VST Bass Amp comes with six amp models and four classic speaker cabinets recorded with eight different microphones and microphone positions to reproduce the unique character of the legendary originals.
