Glow – System Analysis Solutions for Detailed Hardware and Software Insights

Glow is a system analysis software created by Eray Türkay. It provides a user-friendly way to view your computer’s hardware and software specifications. With its simple and intuitive interface, even those unfamiliar with computers can easily learn detailed information about their system.

No system information is transferred to any external medium, ensuring complete security. It is programmed solely with C# and the .NET Framework, without any external libraries or dependencies.

The best part is that it offers features that other programs charge for, all completely free.

Changes in Glow 24.14 :

Support for Windows 11 24H2 is provided.
Glow’s Theme Engine has been reprogrammed! It now uses an object-based algorithm and is compatible with future interfaces.
The Cache Cleaner Tool has been reprogrammed. The interface now has a more modern look and table structure.
The ‘Windows Prefetch’, ‘Windows Update Cache’, and ‘Windows Icon Cache’ cleaning features have been added to the Cache Cleanup Tool.
The DNS Test Tool has been reprogrammed. It now has a more modern look and table structure.
The ability to selectively copy rows has been added to the DNS Test Tool. You can now double-click on the row you want and copy the results to the clipboard.
The DNS Test Tool results printing feature has been updated. It now offers a cleaner printing.
The HTML Print Engine of the Export Information feature has been updated. It now works more compatible with responsiveness. In addition, some visual innovations have been added.
An Instagram link has been added to the About section.
.NET Framework 4.8.1 October 2024 security patch is integrated.

Fixed Bugs

Fixed an issue where the L1 Processor Cache Size in the Processor section was incorrectly displayed on modern processors.
Fixed an issue where the Disk Manufacturer information in the Storage section was showing as ‘NVMe’ on systems using Intel VMD storage drives.
Fixed inconsistency in time calculation algorithms in Glow.
Fixed a bug in the Memory Test Tool where selecting an item in the table caused the color to change to blue and disappear.
Fixed a bug in Glow’s print and export algorithms that caused an extra space in the last line.
Fixed various DPI bugs.

Changes

While running the BIOS Update button in the Motherboard section, the label now displays ‘BIOS Update’ instead of ‘BIOS Driver.’
The RAM Speed property in the RAM section now displays in both MHz and MT/s, for example, ‘4800 MHz / 4800 MT/s.’
Changed the shutdown feature of the Screen Layout Tool. There is no longer a shutdown button. Instead, you can close it by pressing the ESC key from the keyboard.
The typo “Number of Drives Installed” in the English version has been corrected to “Number of Drivers Installed.”
The typo in the English language ‘Total Number of Drives Installed:’ has been changed to ‘Total Number of Drivers Installed:’.
Removed the jQuery and Font Awesome requirement for the HTML Print Engine in the Export Information feature.
