MP3tag is a powerful and easy-to-use universal tag editor that allows users to edit metadata for a wide range of audio formats, including ID3, MP4, WMA, and more. It offers batch editing capabilities and a user-friendly interface, making it an efficient solution for organizing and managing music libraries.

It can rename files based on tag information, replace characters or words in tags and filenames, import /export tag information, create playlists, and more.

MP3tag supports online database lookups from Amazon, Discogs, and Freedb, allowing automatic retrieval of accurate tags and cover art for your music library.

Beyond its core capabilities, MP3tag offers a variety of additional functions, including batch export of embedded album covers, support for iTunes-specific tags (such as media type or TV Show settings), and the ability to combine multiple actions into groups that can be applied with a single click.
